Have you ever had such an overwhelming feeling of love for your dog?

i adore my dog
I’ve regularly had dogs flourishing up, though right away which we have my own dog, we feel similar to she’s my child. we adore her which much. is this normal. we regularly wish her to be happy as good as safe. She’s the 3 year aged Chiuauaua/Pug mix. Her name is Isabelle.
Tengolatte: we am so contemptible for your bad doggie. I’ll urge for her to get well. Isabelle will too!

Yes this is normal. That is why many people including me refer to their pet as fur children.

Absolutely. Any true dog lover has felt this.

I feel Lillian is my Furchild, and I’ll do anything in her best interest.

Isabelle is a very lucky dog and must be very well taken care of.

Congrats. :)

I love my dogs like you wouldn’t believe!! They are part of my family. Loving dogs is a good thing! :-)

I’ve always had a stronger adoration for animals than people, especially dogs. I like to think it’s genetic, I come from a long line of very, very strong animal lovers, on my mother’s side. I just…I can’t even begin to explain how much I love my dogs. I am sure that when I have children, the love I have for my dogs won’t even compare, but right now, I feel like there’s not a stronger love in the world. I do feel like they’re my babies, and sometimes (not OFTEN, but it’s happened maybe three or four times a year for about ten years) I’ll refuse to go out with a friend unless wherever I go is dog friendly.

I love them immensely.

Yes it’s normal. I have a strong bond with my dog. In the past I have lost a dog after 12 years and felt depressed for months.

Yes, it normal, as long as you don’t love her more than you own children.

Our dogs are our children! We couldn’t have any children, so we adopted rescue dogs. Sometimes, I can’t even express how much I love them. I just hug them as tight as I can. A psychic once told me that if you throw (spiritually) enough love at a dog, if you’re able to see auras (which I’m not) you’ll see them actually absorb the love and their auras glow.

Oh yes! My golden/lab mix is my best friend and has been for the last 13 years. She is literally family and another child in my family. I don’t know what I’ll do without her.
This is especially sad because she took a turn for the worse last night. She has arthritis which has been known for a few years now but her back half is “paralyzed” and she hasn’t been eating and on x-rays the vet has found a lump but don’t know what it is so she has to spend at least the weekend at the vet’s.
